I often get asked what my favorite part of my job is. It's definitely getting to work with our clients and their families! This wedding is the perfect example of that. Jordan and Wrangel welcomed us into their world with open arms and before it was all over we felt like a part of their family. We spent many nights planning alongside the couple and their parents. And her mother Terri and Aunt Dena kept me fed with delicious meals and a plethora of good ideas!
Wrangel is a pilot, and grew up flying with his entire family. Both of them have a love for the outdoors and adventure. Jordan wanted to create a day that felt Alaskan, but also emanated touches of beauty and elegance. My favorite design element were two large hanging floral chandeliers. They were suspended over the dance floor and partially covered with lush greens in different shades and textures and they were breathtaking! They selected a venue that overlooked the Chugach Range and the Talkeetna Mountains. It was nestled on the most wonderful lawn on a working hobby farm with just about the prettiest farm house you would ever hope to see in Alaska. "Love at First Flight" was the theme and the evening was spent enjoying the scenery amongst friends and family and included LOTS of dancing. The ladies even performed a secret flash mob and the men rebutted with a surprise dance of their own! This day was full of love, laughter and warmth. And we have to give a very special thanks to Steve and Dena! They personally built and created so many unique pieces for this wedding. It wouldn't have been anywhere near as beautiful without their creativity. Congratulations to Jordan and Wrangel and thank you for letting us be a part of your big day!
